Currently on sabbatical from her profession as an Industrial Engineer, Laura considers yoga to be an integral part of her life. She is currently teaching yoga and Flōt Aerial Fitness classes. Laura discovered her yoga practice 12 years ago and has been instructing classes for 7 years. Honoring the mind/body perspective led her to complete Yoga, Food & Body Image training with Chelsea Roff. In addition to her RYT 200 certification, Laura also completed 30 hour Alignment training with David Regelin and is a certified Aerial Yoga instructor. Gaining peace, tranquility, and a different view on life through yoga is a goal she seeks to impart to her students. Her classes take a relaxed, mindful approach to planting the seed of yoga as an everyday practice, with a focus on using the breath to calm the mind, helping students understand their bodies, and giving them a tool for daily practice in their lives. Laura believes that the benefits of yoga go far beyond just physical fitness and shares that insight through her teaching methods.

Laura also loves to dance Flamenco, take ballet classes, and practice Acroyoga. However, she finds her most rewarding job to be her role as a mother to her 12 year old and 10 year old children and enjoying all the ups and downs that come with motherhood.
